Walter obtained B.Sc. (Honours) and M.Sc. degrees from Queen’s University (Canada) and was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the University of Western Ontario (Canada). He conducted post-doctoral research at the Ohio State University (USA). He also holds a Master of Theological Studies
